- Control Triacs are used as on/off on variable dimmer control to switch AC currents. May be required to survive shorting bulb element.
- Solution Description:
- Triac selection depends on the line voltage, nominal load current, maximum surge load current and the specific trigger circuit employed. Typical part number used as L601E5 w/ 20A surge capability.
