How Shock Block Works

The Shock Block® line of industrial Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters (GFCIs)  detects leakage current and interrupts the circuit, significantly reducing or eliminating shock potential. Our Shock Block unit monitors the ground wire circuit from the unit to load for continuity. If a wire is broken or becomes loose, the Shock Block unit will signal an alarm and de-energize the circuit in less than half of a second, significantly reducing or eliminating the shock potential.
