ITV Three-Terminal Fuses

ITV three-terminal fuses provide overcurrent and overvoltage protection to portable rechargeable Li-ion batteries. An embedded heater ensures the fuse blows when signals from integrated circuits or field effect transistors (FETs) indicate current or voltage surges occurred. By acting as surge suppressors, ITV three-terminal fuses prevent overcharging that can irreparably damage rechargeable batteries. The small size of the fuses makes them good choices for battery protection in power tools, laptops, and robotic vacuum cleaners.
