Fast-acting ceramic-bodied barrier network fuses with axial leads prevent arc flashes and overheating due to overcurrent events. Safety regulations require use of these overcurrent protection devices in equipment such as flow meters and automatic test equipment deployed in areas where dust or gases could catch fire or explode. All barrier network fuses made by Littelfuse meet EN 50020 standards and have high interrupting ratings of 4 kA at 250 V.
