The 434 series fast-acting surface mount fuse series is 
an ultra small (0603 size) thin-film device designed for 
secondary protection of circuits used in space constrained 
applications such as hand-held portable electronic devices. 
For RoHS compliant and lead-free design, please refer to 
the Littelfuse 467 series thin film fuse

  • The SlimLine 0603 fuse is an extremely small, low profile design (0603 chip size) utilizing thin-film technology to achieve precise control of electrical characteristics.
  • The lower height profile produces a flat surface for improved performance in pick-and-place operations and an alternate solution for height critical applications.

PCN# EFU100-3 Littelfuse Inc. would like to inform customers that it will cease production of its Non-RoHS compliant and lead based Surface Mount Thin Film Fuses products on December 31 2008. The product series impacted are the following. Thin Film Fuse Series - 0430, 0433, 0434 and the 0429xxx.WRM series. The final date for which orders will be taken is September 30, 2008. In all cases Littelfuse has RoHS and Lead-Free alternative series now available . The most up to date information on these series can be found on the Littelfuse website, http://www.littelfuse.com/. Littelfuse Inc is implementing this change so that it can continue to pursue a policy of manufacturing and selling "Green" products.
