Littelfuse Standard Limited Warranty - Industrial Products

Unless otherwise stated in product literature issued by Littelfuse, Littelfuse warrants to Buyer that the Industrial Products set forth below are free from defects in material and workmanship for the following period from the date of manufacture:

• Class J Fuse and Dc Disconnect Switches: Two (2) years
• Industrial Shock Block SB6100 Series: One (1) year
• Industrial Shock Block SB5000 Series: Two (2) years
• Littelfuse Brand Fuses: One (1) year
• Littelfuse Brand Fuse Holders, Fuse Blocks & Distribution Blocks: One (1) year
• LFCP Series Coordination Panels: One (1) year
• LPS Series Shunt Trip Disconnect Switches: One (1) year
• MPU, MPS, FPS, and FPU Industrial Relay Product series: Ten (10) years
• Surge Protective SPD2 and SPDN Series: Two (2) years 
• All other Standard Industrial Relay Products: Five (5) years
• Custom and private labeled Industrial Relay Products: Eighteen (18) months
• Third-party/pass-through Industrial Products: Warranty per the product’s original manufacturer to the extent such is transferable by Littelfuse to Buyer

Any customer who purchases Littelfuse Industrial products directly from Littelfuse or an authorized Littelfuse distributor may contact the Littelfuse Technical Support department at 1-800-TEC-FUSE or for fuses TECHLINE@littelfuse.com or relays at relays@littelfuse.com to request an RMA (return material authorization). Issuance of a RMA number does not acknowledge goods as defective or under warranty by Littelfuse. Unauthorized returns will be refused.

Authorized returns must be shipped freight prepaid to the service location and are subject to inspection and testing prior to disposition. The assigned RMA number must be marked on the outside of the package. The point of contact for the assigned RMA will be notified of the warranty evaluation results and product disposition.

LITTELFUSE’S LIABILITY IS LIMITED, AT ITS OPTION, TO REPAIR OR REPLACE THE PRODUCT OR TO CREDIT THE PURCHASE PRICE OF ANY PRODUCT THAT IS RETURNED DURING ITS WARRANTY PERIOD AND PROVEN TO HAVE A WARRANTED DEFECT. THIS WARRANTY CONSTITUTES LITTELFUSE’S SOLE LIABILITY HEREUNDER AND IS IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTY EXPRESSED, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, WRITTEN OR ORAL, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND SUPERSEDES ANY REPRESENTATION MADE BY ANY PERSON WHICH IS INCONSISTENT WITH OR EXPANDS THE TERMS SET FORTH IN THIS DOCUMENT. NO PERSON IS AUTHORIZED TO MODIFY THIS WARRANTY IN ANY WAY WHATSOEVER.

Further Limits of Liability: IN NO EVENT SHALL LITTELFUSE BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL OR OTHER DAMAGES WHATSOEVER RESULTING FROM THE PRODUCTS OR LITTELFUSE’S SALE OR SERVICING THEREOF, WHETHER DUE TO BREACH OF CONTRACT, BREACH OF WARRANTY, STRICT LIABILITY, PRODUCT LIABILITY, THE NEGLIGENCE OF LITTELFUSE OR OTHERWISE EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. LITTELFUSE’S AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO BUYER SHALL NOT, IN ANY EVENT, EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE ACTUALLY PAID BY BUYER TO LITTELFUSE FOR THE PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO A CLAIM.
