VoIP gateways are becoming more widespread as the primary means of voice delivery in home and enterprise environments. There is a need for overcurrent and overvotlage protection in telephony equipment to help meet UL and other safety requirements. Our 2Pro devices help protect against damage caused by various sources including lightning, electrostatic discharge (ESD), power contact, and induction with AC lines. By incorporating PolySwitch PPTC (Polymeric Positive Temperature Coefficient) and MOV (Metal Oxide Varistor) technology into a single device, 2Pro devices can also help you reduce board space and component count in your designs.
