The IXBOD2 series of breakover diodes (BODs) provides fast, voltage‑triggered switching for over‑voltage protection, triggering, and controlled energy discharge applications. Devices remain in a high‑impedance off‑state under normal operating conditions and transition rapidly to a low‑impedance conducting state when the specified breakover voltage is exceeded. The IXBOD2 family offers stable and repeatable breakover behavior with very low temperature dependence, and is available in both discrete and module configurations to support a wide range of system requirements.
