Thyristor Diode Modules

Thyristor-diode modules serve as solid state switches and rectifiers in high-current electrical systems. They often get used as ac motor soft starters, dc motor controllers, lighting controllers, and temperature-controlled switches. Littelfuse subsidiary IXYS produces these modules in several sizes and with a range of breaking voltages up to 2.2 kV.
