The FPS (Feeder Protection System) is a feeder-protection relay that provides current, voltage, and temperature protection for feeder applications. It offers integrated breaker or contactor control, data logging, and a complete metering package. The FPS is typically used in processing, manufacturing, petroleum, chemical, mining, forestry, water, and waste treatment applications.

Features & Benefits:

  • Eighteen protective functions to extend the life of transformers and feeder cables
  • Meters current, voltage, power, temperature, and more
  • Inverse-time (including IEC and IEEE curves) and definite-time overcurrent and earth-fault protection
  • Breaker or contactor control - integrated OPEN and CLOSE command keys
  • Large 80-character vacuum-fluorescent display
  • Eight digital inputs, five relay outputs, one analog input and output
  • RTD module can be installed remotely (up to 1,200 m) to simplify wiring
  • CSA Class 1 Zone 2 hazardous-location certified OPI and RTD modules
  • Standard Modbus RTU and Allen-Bradley DF1 RS-485 communications
  • Optional Modbus TCP and Ethernet/IP, DeviceNet, PROFIBUS communications
  • Free SE-Comm-RIS PC-interface software
  • Conformally coated circuit boards
  • 10-year warranty
