The Heavy-Duty Single-Pole Series 24 V 175 A Master Battery Disconnect Switch with Silver Contacts and IP67 Rating (24025-04) features single-pole, single-throw (SPST) circuitry and is designed for disconnecting a vehicle battery from the vehicle electrical system.

Disconnecting the battery from the electrical system with a manual disconnect switch prevents potential thermal events and ensures the system is shut down during maintenance or an emergency. Master battery disconnect switches also prevent parasitic loads from draining the battery during inactivity.

Thanks to its rugged steel case and O-ring and gasket seals, this IP67-rated automotive battery disconnect switch is ideal for use in heavy-duty trucks, emergency vehicles, buses, and other commercial vehicles.

This configuration features silver contact surfaces and an intermittent current rating of 1000 A at 30 seconds on and 5 minutes off for 1000 cycles.
