The 08075062 Series 32V 250A Waterproof Bi-Stable Magnetic Battery Disconnect Switch is a single-pole, single-throw (SPST) current isolating switch designed for use in commercial vehicles, including heavy trucks, construction equipment, and more. Thanks to its waterproof IP67/X9K rating, this series is also suited for use as a marine battery disconnect switch.
While traditional current isolating switches require a minimum current when they are turned on, models with "magnetic ON-OFF position" absorb current only during the commuting phase or when switched from (OFF) to (ON) and vice versa. Generally referred to as “bi-stable with zero consumption,” their switches turn to closed or open state of the electric circuit.
This model of the 08075062 Series automotive battery disconnect switch (08075161) features positive or negative disconnection, a 7-way DIN connector, and a 30-second, 60-second, 180-second, or 360-second time delay. This configuration also has a 2A auxiliary contact.
